May 6, 2007...God is soooooo good!

We are so excited to share what God is doing in our life and ministry. He is showing himself faithful once again. We are currently at 81%!!!!!! How exciting is that? It is so humbling to be in this position but at the same time, honoring to see how God works for His will and purposes. It is all about Him and for Him!!

Our prayer time today was such a blessing. The Lord was there and blessed all who were able to join us. We prayed for those who were not able to join us and pray that the Lord honored that prayer and blessed them too. :-)

We were able to show off Scott's diploma today and the meeting and a photo of him in his cap & gown. We (the boys and I) are very proud of Scott and his accomplishment. All of this could not have been accomplished without the Lord's help and your prayers. Thank you all!!!

We had some really tasty dished today at the meeting and everyone would like the recipes to them...hint, hint Kim and Judy....so please reply to this post and include the recipes for all to share. :-)

We are getting ready to go on a weekend road trip to Maryland this coming Friday to Scott's sisters house and meet with her pastor and the missions director. They have officially agreed to support us during our time at MMS. Praise the Lord!! It will be nice to meet them face to face.
We have been asked to stay for Sunday morning service so that the pastor can introduce us to the body and allow them to have a face to go with their support. So, we are going to get to meet some of the body as well, we are very excited about it.

Have a blessed week and thank you all for your support and encouragement.

Love,
Lela and boyz~

FIG GEMS (By Judy Bayer)

After soaking remove any hard stems from figs. In a food processor, process figs, raisins, and nuts. Remove to a bowl and stir in almond butter until soft and pliable. With your hands, make balls the size of small walnuts. Can be rolled in crushed pecans if desired
