The 40's Club

Well Congrats to Scott for officially joining the 40's club. I threw him a little surprise party this weekend since he was turning the big 40 this past Sunday (April 22nd) and he was so blessed by all that was able to show up. We had 30 people or so. It was so neat to see so many of our friends again. Many of them we had not seen in a long time. What a blessing.

Now this weekend coming we are getting ready for the big Graduation Day. I went today and bought Scott a new dress shirt and tie. (That will be a Kodak moment ay?) :-) Scott in a tie. I can't wait. Thank the Lord that Kohl's had them on sale. :-)

Please pray for traveling mercies as we will be leaving about 5 a.m. this Friday to be able to get there for rehearsal and checked into the hotel so the kids can swim during that time. Pray for the grandparents who will be staying behind at the hotel to watch them. :-)

The boys informed me that they have never been to Canada before. They are so excited to go over the border. I thought they had been there before but then I remembered it was before they came along. I used to go over there so often that I think of it as I do about going to Detroit, not much of a big deal. So, they are excited about Daddy graduating but also about going out of country.

Well, that is about the update for now. My eyes are doing very well and my back is tolerable. Thank you for your continued prayers, we really do appreciate each of you!!!!
