Well, here is another update. It has been almost a week since our last one. Hooking up to interenet has been a challenge. For some reason, my computer didn't want to communicate with my dad's interenet. So, we are now at Carl and Ronalyn's house and we are hooked up. I will try to be brief but yet catch you all up a bit.

Monday night went really well. There were a total of 4 people who Scott spoke to (one being his cousin) and they kept him busy talking the whole night. We never brought out any paper work or showed anything on the computer the whole time...they just walked in and started asking questions and kept Scott talking until the restaurant closed. They did ask about how they could go about pledging and if they could do it all in one payment. They were all business men who knew what they were looking for and what to ask. They really seemed to like Scott and what he had to say.

Tues. My cousin's husband had to work so my family went out and celebrated my mom and dads birthday together. My dad's is March 6th and my mom's is March 10th.

Wednesday night went very well too! We spoke at our old babysitters church and was told that they would be in touch with us for sure and Carol (the babysitter & friend) is the treasurer and told us that all we had to do was make the body like us and that the pastor told her that we were already in as new missionaries. Well, with all of the Q & A's and the dinner afterwards and them hanging all over us is any indication of "if they like us" or not...I am pretty sure we will be hearing from them. The assistant pastor's son, who is 16, wanted to sign up for MMS that night and can't wait to get of age. The father was very much for it. Too funny.

Thursday we drove the entire day and night, during a lot of rain and wind. It wasn't fun. We drove into the wind so our gas mileage wasn't all that great. We arrived at the Steven's around midnight their time, they are an hour behind us. Then we stayed up talking to who knows when.

Friday...we are going to hang here for the day and see the kids, they are at school, then maybe go to my Uncles after that. Scott and Carl are gone to a "tool" store and to see Jeff Reed for a bit. Jeff is another missionary friend of ours who is home and lives here as well.
Jeremiah and Ronalyn are playing legos in the floor and he is just talking her ear off. She is so good with him. Shaughn and Matthew stayed up all night with Nathan Stevens playing PS2 and they are still playing waiting on him to get home from school. It is so windy or I would make them go out side and play.

Health...You remember that last Friday Jeremiah got sick...well, Tuesday night Matthew was sick all night and I didn't feel that great. Wednesday Nathaniel wasn't sure either. Nathaniel and Shaughn have a pretty yucky cough, with Shaughn's allergies it always sounds worse for him.

We received a call from my sister's church yesterday at my mom's but we had already left. They are suppose to try us today on our cell phones. This is a great thing. The pastor and missions director wants to meet with us (the pastor is out of country at the moment). Chris, my sister, is the treasurer at their church and she said that Ray told her that he already has mentioned to the missions team that they are going to have a new missionary that they are going to start supporting soon. He told her that was about us but that they did want to meet us too. I have noticed that in the south, no one gets in a hurry. They think nothing about calling a couple weeks later and I am so learning that it reminds me of the PI and the hot culture people. Too funny!

I hope you enjoy these little (big) updates and we can't wait to fill you in more in person. There is so much that it is hard to put it all on here. :-)
Bless you all and thank you for your prayers.

Scott, Lela, Shaughn, Matthew, Nathaniel and Jeremiah
