What a blessing!! God is answering our prayers!! Sean R. has been moved back to the day shift and was able to start his class last week. Go God!!
Other requests have been heard by our Father and are being answered as well. God is faithful and loving.
Last week was definatly a challange. Scott and I really had our share of warfare and felt it was a direct attack but we also felt the prayers of our warriors and wanted to say thank you! God has blessed us with a great group of prayer warriors.
We hope you use this space to share your requests and praises. We are all on this journey together. Go God!! Your an Awesome Father, thank you for loving your children so much!
Scott received an email from his professor yesterday and it looks like he is going to be getting the materials for his next class tomorrow. This class is on dvd and is due by July 15, and his 2nd class (also in dvd) is due by August 30th. After this, he will only have 1 more class to do and then he will be done. Yeah! Each class is $575.00 plus $50.00 for each dvd. Please pray that he can do these classes and that it will not be over-whelming with his work schedule and all. We have June so full with traveling and such and a holiday on both sides of it with family commitments...(Memorial Day, Lela's family reunion in Virginia and July 4th weekend with Scott's out-of-town family). This doesn't leave much time for studying. Please pray that God protects and creates time for Scott and that he will not feel like he is "missing" out on family time by doing all of this. We are very proud of him and understand that it is only for a season.
Thank you all for your faithful prayers. God bless you!
Thank you all so much for your prayers. Our weekend trip to Va. for my family reunion went so well and we appreciate you all so much. Just before we left, I had another weigh in at Curves...remember last month I lost 11 lbs (my first month) and this month I lost another 9...that is a total of 20 lbs!!! I am so excited. I want to thank you all for your prayers regarding this change in our life too. We are all doing so much better and eating healthier. We really feel your support. God bless you all!! Lela~
June 4, 2006 I would like to update everyone with some reports Scott and I received individually this week. I went to the doctor for my foot and was sent for an MRI yesterday and have to go back on Tuesday to find out the results of the MRI. It looks like I will have to have surgery on my right foot due to 3 different lumps on top. 2 are on a main tendon to my big toe and the other one is larger and on the bone, also he thinks is now connnected itself to the nerve. This large one is located right between the main artery and the other tendon which leaves very little room to cut for removal. The MRI should show more details for him. On top of that, the larger one also has a very large red spot which covers a big portion of my foot and the smaller ones also have a red spot, these spots are puzzling to the doctor and he is sending me to a dermatologist for that. Surgery does not fit well into my summer plans...and I am glad that since I can not wear shoes that touch these areas, that it is summer time. On to Scott, he went yesterday for a complete physical and the doctor found a small heart murmor. He needs to go for a couple of more tests to rule out anything more serious. Please pray that they find nothing and that it is gone.
We thank you for your prayers and dedication to us. God bless you all.
My doctor appointment for my foot has been changed from today to this Friday at 2:30...the MRI report wasn't done yet. Scott has one of his heart test appointments tomorrow (6-7-06) at 3:45 (Test to be done at 4:00). His complete echocardiogram is not until July 25th at 3:45. Thank you for your continued prayers. Blessings, Lela~
Scott went this week to get his echocardiogram done and his blood pressure was pretty high. Please remember him in your prayers for his blood pressure, cholesterol and his heart issues. Thank you. Also, he is working hard on trying to finish his classes, pray that he doesn't loose momentum. Thank you! Lela
A couple of good friends of ours from MMS is in need of prayer for health reasons. Please remember Tim and Chris. Thank you.
Also, Please remember to pray for our Prayer team and protection from the enemy. I feel that because you all have committed to praying for us, this puts you in the line of fire with the enemy. I really want God's protection on all of you!! :-) Blessings for a Blessed week! Lela~
Ed went to the doctors yesterday and found out that he can not have a stint because his anurism is too close to his kidney. He has to be opened up and under go surgery (by-pass)which takes about 3 hours and will be in the hospital 7-10 days with 3 months of recovery and therapy. He is not happy with this outcome and Stephanie is very upset. She wants him to do it now and he wants to wait until winter. They need your prayers for wisdom and direction. Thank you. Lela
