Happy 2007!!!!

Happy New Year!!!

We are excited to see what the Lord is going to do this year. We feel that there are going to be some BIG changes occurring this year and we can't wait to see how God chooses to accomplish them.

We have such a great prayer team!!! They have been meeting together monthly for almost a full year now and really go to battle on our behalf. What a huge blessing to be a part of such an awesome team!! We love each and every one of them so much.

They have agreed to join us in a time of prayer and fasting for the next month. Wow!! Talk about being a team!! God is to be praised and we are all going to be doing just that!! I am going to post another blog regarding the fasting and ask that as everyone is fasting and if they learn or hear from God during these times, that they post to that blog. If you have problems posting, please email me the things you want to say and I will copy and paste them for you to a post. Hopefully this will be a source of encouragement for us as we hear from our King together. :-)

The meeting times for our monthly prayer is still going to be the first Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at B.C.C. in room 206. This has worked well so far, so we are going to stick with it for now. Please come when and if you can. We would love to have you!

Our family has rung in the new year with illnesses galore. Each of us was struck with the nasty flu thing, starting the Friday before New Years and it quickly went through the entire house, (plus all of our visiting families), and then we were hit with another virus that is nasty too. We are coughing and tightnesses in our chests. Headaches are running rapid and our appetites have been all over the place. Please remember us in your prayers regarding our health.

Scott's work has been very slow. He isn't even getting a full 40 hours in a week. If he takes a lay-off, then our income will drop more than 50%. Talk about being in a catch 22. Anther area of prayer concern.

We hope you all have a great year and draw closer to God more than ever!! We give this year (as we do each day of our life) to God and may He be glorified in all of it!!!!
