September is Here!!

What a wonderful time we had on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. We went with Lela's mom and sister's and their families. We went through Tropical Storm Ernesto and was able to experience the excitement of "Strong Winds and High Waves". That was very exciting. Our condo was right on the ocean with a beautiful ocean view. Absolutely gorgeous. Scott and I sat on the balcony and watched the sun sets over the ocean and just enjoyed listening to the waves make beautiful music. We enjoyed it much more than sitting on our porch at home listening to the noise of the freeway. ha ha.

The boys had a blast in the ocean, except for Jeremiah who did not appreciate the salt in his eyes or mouth. For Jeremiah's sake, we enjoyed the lazy river at the condo more often.
While we were there, we also took in the Ripley's Aquarium. That was incredible. The whole family loved it. We had great weather, other than the tropical storm.

Our trip home was pretty long, much longer than we expected. We left at 8 a.m. and arrived in our driveway at 5 a.m. the next morning. Yes, that is 21 hours on the road. Much too long to have done at one time, but we did it and paid dearly the next day for it.

Scott finally finished his 2 classes....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord and thank you all for your prayers. He can finally breath now for the first time since spring.

We have had the party week here at the Lazaros household. Shaughn turned 15 on Tuesday and Jeremiah turned 4 on Thursday. Jeremiah's party was on Thursday and Shaughn's is today, Friday. How many cakes can you eat in one week when your trying not to even eat sweets??? I compromised a little with Shaughn's cake on Tuesday...I made a huge peanut butter cookie and stuck candles in it and we sang. That eliminated one cake, since he wanted one for his friends on Friday.

We plan on starting school next week and start getting into a schedule for fall. Please pray that God gives us His wisdom on that schedule and that we are focused to it.

We were informed yesterday from MMS that we have been blessed with two more pledged sponsors. We are so humbled by this whole process. We are asking God to speak clearly to us as to who to send letters too and to speak to those who receive them. We truly desire for this whole process to be His doing and for Him to receive ALL the Priase for it. This is HIS ministry. Thank you all for joining us in HIS ministry, it is a pleasure serving our KING with you.

Have a blessed week and season. We hope to hear from you soon, so please write and share with us Praises to our King.

Serving Him together,
Lela and boyz
