Lazaros' on vacation!!

Hi all!!

We are here at Myrtle Beach, relaxing and having a great time. Last week Scott was in Marquette all week and was able to take a couple of scenic trips and unwind. While Scott was away, Lela and the boyz proceeded to work without stopping. We were able to accomplish painting both bathrooms and Shaughn & Matthew's room. I also steam cleaned the boys' room and packed up some more boxes (totes) plus...packed up for vacation for a week. I also was on the phone for many hours talking to possible landlords and Realtors trying to find a home to rent that will accommodate us while we are in Ohio.

I asked many of the MMS'ers and they gave me some leads that didn't pan out too well. One lady I phoned said they wouldn't have the house ready until Dec. 1st. but that she would talk to her husband and they would pray about it. I crossed that one off. A couple of days later I received a phone call from her saying that she and her husband had prayed about it and both felt the Lord telling them that they were to rent us their house. She said they would have it ready by Oct. 1st for us. We are going to see it this Saturday. So far it is the only lead we have so we don't have too many choices to make as of yet. ha ha I have received other calls from people letting me know they have been looking high and low and haven't found anything. HHUUMMM, could this be God!!

Please keep this in your prayers. We desire to hear God's voice in this matter.

The boys are really enjoying the water and the relaxing. I went shopping yesterday to my favorite place...it is a store called "Out of Africa". TOO COOL! Every thing in there was pretty much made in "Kenya". HUMMMM...

Well, that is about it for the update. We are planning on leaving here Friday (after Scott and the two oldest boys go deep sea fishing) and heading towards Ohio. Saturday we are looking at the house and have been invited to Dwight and Rena Jarboe's grandchild's 3rd birthday party. (Dwight is the President of MMS). We are going to check out a church on Sunday morning and then probably head home Sunday evening. Monday is a day of rest and getting ready for the craziness to restart. :-)

Love you all and thank you for everything!!!!

Bless you,
Lela and boyz~

August 17, 2007

Good afternoon,

This week has been so crazy. We have been painting the boys' room and continuing to pack totes. The tower of totes are taking over the place. (smile)

A couple of things that I would like to ask you to pray for:
*is a place to rent in Ohio. God knows exactly what we need and would like. He is our provider.

*Continue to pray for the exact renters for our current home. We have 3 possibilities that are praying over it. Pray that God would send the right one and give us discernment to know.

*Scott is suppose to work in Marquette next week. Lela and the boys will be home alone to continue the work on the house AND to pack for the family vacation for the following week.

*For the family vacation to Myrtle Beach and harmony as we will be sharing close living quarters with other family members.

*For Matthew. On Wednesday, September 5th (Shaughn's 16th birthday), Matthew will be having surgery on his elbow. The MRI showed a big piece of cartilage that has chipped off of his bone and is floating around in there and causing great pain. They will make 4 incisions to remove it and stitch him up and send him home. He will go back the following week to get the stitches removed.

*Scott is going in on Friday, September 7th (Jeremiah's 5th birthday) and having his preliminary exam done to see if he is a candidate for Lazik eye surgery.

Are you getting how we are celebrating our children's birthday's this year?? ha ha

Other requests:
*Trisha: Sell her house and be reunited with her husband. Behavior with boys...
*Robin: Continue healing from surgery, which went well.
*Ed: Continue healing from surgery.
*Stephanie: Back pain and future surgery.
*Brian: Work load, stress, desired rest and relief.
*Jim: Mother; report from Hospice not good.
*Dot: Mother, in hospital. Broken toe, Indonesia trip. AFC work.
*Stu: Wisdom as head of house.
*Heather: Joshua in private school. Adjustments.
*Kim: Wisdom, school.
*Judy: Bob strength and health.
*Gary & Becky: Ethiopia Trip.
*Kate: School, Kegan.
