July 12, 2007

Happy Mid July!!

Tomorrow is Matthew's 13th birthday and as I sit here reflecting on our life, I realize that I haven't blogged in a while. So, I need to bring you all up to date on our life.

I will just give you bullet points as it is not that exciting for details. ha ha

**last week our fridge died and we lost all of our food.
**last week Lela was very sick and thanks to Michele Hardy, she is felling much better now.
**as a result of last week's yuckies with Lela, we now have a new family eating plan. VERY HEALTHY!!!! (great timing on the fridge dying...now we have to buy healthy replacements).
**Scott got his bike back up and running. (his gas tank had a nasty leak and now it have been repaired)
**We went to visit JAARS, which was at the Oakland Cty Airport the first of July...I attached a photo of Nathaniel and Matthew taking a flight.
**We are still at 90%. Our scheduled speaking time with Cornerstone, here in Brighton, was rescheduled for August 6th. Someone from their eldership was unable to make the July meeting.

Ed did great on his surgery yesterday. He was up and eating this morning. They are suppose to be putting him in his own private room this evening. I have not heard anything for a room number.

Reminder: please let me know about the 28th of July for the MMS field trip if you have not yet. We are trying to get final numbers for travel arrangements and for the purchase of the food.:-)

God bless you all and thank you for your prayers. They are very needed. We really feel the warfare heat turned up.

Lela and boyz~
