June 21, 2007

June is just flying by. We have been busy purging and packing. Things seem like they will never be done. We have had some wonderful help and appreciate everyone so much.

My grandma, Lela Markcum, is in the hospital and has been in the ICU and out since Monday. She really needs our prayers too. It has been up and down with the family, not knowing if she is going to make it or not. She is in her late 80's and has asthma really bad on top of this. Her valve in her heart is closing up and there is nothing they can do. This is my dad's mom.

I have the Terminex guy here today taking care of our "issue". I will be going to the hospital later and Scott is playing for Worship and Warfare tonight. May the Lord be praised in ALL things. He knows exactly what is going on and why, nothing is new to Him. I love Him and Praise Him for He is so Good! The scripture that has been heavy on my heart and really ministering to me lately is the one in 1 Peter 5 which says to "Cast all your cares upon him; for he cares for you". This verse has been so comforting and I just wanted to share it with you.

God bless you all!

Updates:
We have a meeting with Cornerstone Pres. Mission's Team on July 9th to speak. We have had MANY "YES" answers for the MMS field trip, both from our prayer team and from the MMS'ers. This is going to be so much fun.
Ed's surgery has been cancelled for tomorrow. We do not know the new surgery date yet. He still has infection going on.
Kegan is with the youth group in Tanzania until next week.

Lots to be praying about.
