Scott torques the Bellanca's prop flange. 1-16-08

Happy Saturday all,

Just a few updates:

*The puppies are finally home. Last Monday 2 little girls came by on a dune buggy and knocked on the door to let us know that they were missing their puppies and that they wanted to take them home. I said "YEAH" and we all said bye to the puppies and saw them off. We had them for over a week and it was fun but things are back to normalcy in that area. :-) We do miss being greeted everytime we go in or out of the house. :-)

*We are test driving a Chevy Suburban. A family here that is going to Brazil is selling it and we are considering buying it and then selling our van. Please be in prayer that we know and make the right decision.

*We have decided not to commit to the coffee house. It is just too far and we will just attend when we can but not no commitments. We feel good about this for right now.

*Scott bought a bunch of new tools and is like a kid at Christmas time. They came in yesterday and he had to take them to his tool box this morning...on Saturday....like it couldn't wait until Monday??? :-)

*Scott and I have been nasty sick this week. We both had the 72 hour flu that is going around and still coughing up stuff. Not fun. Thank God that He has protected the boys so far and that we were the only two with it. It was a tough week.

*MMS Ladies through me and the other 2 new women a Welcome Party last night. They had been trying since I got here but with the holidays it was too hard. One of the other new ladies is from the Philippines. Her name is Glenda and she is here for 2 years. I can't wait to get to know her better. She is a hoot. She loves to make people laugh. She has a Philippines drivers license but has only driven 3 times....ever! 2 were in Holland. So she asked us ladies to help "teach" her before April...that is when her license expires and she has to get a Ohio one. AAUUGGG. I told her that I knew how the Fhilipinos drove and that I wasn't sure just how she was tought...she laughed and said they don't have driving instructors there, you just walk up and pay enough money and you receive a license. I said that explains a lot!!

*I am hoping to go to NC next weekend. My cousin is getting married. I am not sure if Scott will be going too or not. If it is just me and the boys, we will leave out Thursday morning, if Scott goes, then we will have to wait until Friday night.

*We are still waiting for the title for the van from Michigan. Being stranded with one vehicle for 3+ weeks has been trying but ok. God is faithful and good!! ALL the time.

*Scott has changed teams at MMS. He was on Dale Coastes team but now is on Ian Hengst team. He is doing another annual and the next project in line is another annual. Yesterday he was able to see his first annual take off and run with no problems. He was pretty excited.

*Everyone says hi and we love and miss you all!! Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Bless you!

Lela and boyz`
