Happy New Year!!
Just thought I would write a few little updates.
We would really like to ask for extra prayer coverage as the spiritual warfare has heightened over the last couple of weeks. Attitudes are a little more raised and tempers a little more short. Scott and I are feeling that we are being hit in our marriage and we are trying to take extra protection in that area. We would appreciate your prayers.
We have also been hit in the vehicle department. The van started with problems and then we noticed that we renewed the truck tags (we thought they expired on my birthday 12/7) but realized just before Christmas that is was the van that expired on my birthday and that we renewed the wrong vehicle. So, I took the van for an inspection (something you have to do before changing the title over to Ohio, which you have to do to get tags) and noticed that we can not find the van title, only the application for title back in 2005. So, we are waiting for Michigan to send us a duplicate title so I can start the process all over again. Meanwhile, we only have one vehicle which leaves me and the boys home all day everyday and missing their gym class and library time, etc. Causing much more stress.
Scott pulled a muscle in his shoulder and is in lots of pain and I have had a horrible headache (which I never get) for two days and can't take much noise or anything.
Just stuff like that. Total enemy!!!
On the good note:
The boys are doing great. Shaughn and Matthew loves working at the hangar. Matthew has been helping the new youth pastor remodel the youth room and hung out with him today. We are having him and his family over for dinner this coming Sat.
Nathaniel thinks that God answered his prayers times 3 when 3 puppies showed up on our back deck this afternoon. That was about 3 p.m. and they are still there now...11:35 p.m. Daddy said they can't stay but Nathaniel has already named them. Jeremiah said they didn't belong to anyone because they don't have any collars on them. Too funny. I told them they must belong to a neighbor and that we have to ask around. Our landlord told me that this is the country and that people drop off puppies all the time. Great I told her. Someone probably saw my kids and thought they needed them. Wrong! I can't afford 3 dogs. Hello???
Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hey. Hope to hear from you all soon. Love you all!!
Lela and boyz~
